Oracle Cultural Network

About Us

The Oracle Cultural Network is an international association of people working in the cultural field. Founded in 1992 by alumni of the European Diploma in Cultural Project Management, the network has grown out of the professional relationships and exchanges fostered by the Diploma. While many of our members are former participants, Oracle also welcomes cultural practitioners from other backgrounds.

Oracle encourages cooperation, professional exchange and lifelong learning among cultural practitioners. The network promotes:

• Critical, diverse, inclusive and participatory culture

• Civic and intercultural dialogue

• An active role for culture in social development

Our members traditionally meet each year in a different country to explore current issues in culture and the arts, engage with local cultural practices and exchange professional experiences. Alongside these annual forums, Oracle is developing new opportunities for exchange and collaboration between members.

Today, Oracle brings together approximately 60 members and affiliates across 24 countries in Europe and beyond: Austria, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Morocco, North Macedonia, Norway, the Palestinian Territories, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
